AI Rank Tracker

The Rank Tracker (Pro) answers the question every merchant asks about AI shopping: “where do I actually show up?”

Bot It searches the same global product catalog that AI surfaces shop from and records where your products place for the queries that matter to your store — alongside the competitors ranked around you, by name.

  1. Track queries. Add the buyer searches you care about (“organic cotton t-shirt”, “ceramic pour over set”), or let Bot It suggest queries from your product types and from real searches agents have already run against your store.
  2. Add buyer intent (optional). A short intent description (“shopper wants breathable basics for hot climates”) makes each check behave like a real agent query, because intent is part of how the catalog ranks results.
  3. Nightly checks. Bot It runs every tracked query each night and records your best-placed product, how many results were scanned, and which stores rank ahead of you.

Each tracked query card shows:

  • Your rank — the best position any of your products holds, or “not in top 50”
  • Your matching products — which products placed, and where
  • Who’s ahead of you — competitor stores by name and position
  • Trend — whether you moved up or down since the last check

The Rank Tracker is the proof loop for the Discovery engine: fix your product data, then watch the ranks respond over the following checks. If a query never shows your products, check that the products are published, in stock, categorized, and passing their audit — and that your store passes the store-level gates.

  • Rankings come from live catalog searches, so they reflect what an agent would see at that moment — results can vary between checks.
  • Development stores and password-protected storefronts don’t appear in the public catalog, so they will show “not in top 50” by design.
